About Me

7 0f 365 Doesn't Everyone Knit?

Yep, I’m a knitter. I’ve been knitting since I was 8 years old or somewhere around there. It’s been a few days. If you believe that you’re sillier than I am.

Hint – my 50th class reunion was in September ’25. I’m from Oakland County, Michigan and graduated from Walled Lake Central. We still have a crazy crowd show up for our reunions. This last one was a the first in ten years since we weren’t allowed to gather in 2020.

After living in Oakland County I went to Macomb County, back to Oakland County, back to Macomb County and now over in St. Clair County. If you’re familiar with our Mitten State that would put me in the Thumb now. My husband and I have a second home up north of Atlanta which is about an hour south of the Mackinaw Bridge. Along with that, we have 80 acres in the Tahquamenon Woods in the Upper Peninsula. No cabin there anymore since the 2012 Duck Lake Fire wiped us out along with 32,000 more acres.

I’ve got a BA in – now pay attention – Fine, Performing & Communication Arts concentration in Fashion Design and Merchandising. Yes, that is all on my diploma from Wayne State University. I’ve got an Associates of Science in Marketing and Advertising from Macomb Community College and a whole bunch of certificates from Gale Education through our St. Clair County Library System.
